June 19 Groom, TX Tornado
A highly unstable airmass along with NW flow made for a classic panhandle sleeper day. Supercell fired over Amarillo and moved due east along I-40, making for easy distance discipline. An outflow boundary from collapsing storms in Oklahoma collided with our storm, creating 2 brief tornadoes right on top of us. Both rated EF-0 luckily. The storm almost recovered from the boundary collision, but more storms formed to the south and turned everything to a MCS.
