April 17, 2015 - Kansas Supercell

A nice little cold core setup looked to take shape in western areas of Kansas. We left around noon and sat in Lakin, KS with Wesley Luginbyhl. We went east after our storm as it looked decent on radar. It kept getting these hooks and developing wall clouds but it just never produced. I think weak low level winds and storm motions were to blame. All in all though, a great chase in some of the best chasing terrain.
