  • 4:39 PM - Rapidly rotating wall cloud really close to the ground. I though she was going to do it here. We're somewhere between Lawton and Frederick.
  • 6:04 PM - east of Lawton looking north. Somehow it got very dark very quickly.
  • This was the first supercell to buzz near Elgin. Suspicious lowering in there but ultimately couldn't tell if it was just scud or not.
  • 6:55 PM - Now southeast of Lawton looking northwest. Big meso hugging the ground. This was the storm that hit the Goodyear Plant.
  • 7:06 PM - Just on the northeast side of Lawton looking NW at our "Scrubbing Bubbles" meso.
  • 7:07 PM - I decide to gamble and drive into the bear's cage. We didn't see anything interesting inside. While we waited out the blinding core under a bridge, this dropped a tornado just a few miles to our east.
  • 9:15 PM - Now sitting north of Randlett looking northwest. Another chaser who was closer said this was indeed a tornado before it wrapped in rain.
