  • Storms firing off the dryline to my west. I'm somewhere north of Pampa on HWY 70.
  • Good flanking line behind the first storm going up.
  • Coming into Spearman from the west on HWY 759, looking west-south-west at this lowering.
  • You can see the clear slot wrapping around the lowering, accelerating the motion. Soon, a funnel forms.
  • Still going quickly towards town. Cone funnel begins to tighten up.
  • By this time I'm on the phone with Amarillo NWS, taking a pic, and trying to drive.
  • Finally coming to a stop, zooming all the way in, and some extreme contrast here as the tornado slowly lifts.
  • In Spearman, looking west.
